Adding to the long line of your comments, great making your acquaintance Cindi! Where are the glam shots like seen here in the objective? Ansel's quote in your intro... is sooooo true!!!

Hi Cindi! WOW! What a fine artistic composition you have here. A photographer in the real sense working and shooting herself! The relfection works fine for me. You're simply gorgeous! Cheers! -- joey

Hey Cindi. This photo. It seems that this photo characterizes that attitude that you keep telling me to push for. There's just enough face to make you wonder what else is under there. Very nice.

More like this. And I agree, you should be in front of the camera just as much as behind it.

How could I lose such a pretty photographer? I am becoming older? ;) Maybe the photo is a bit blurred or the reflections in the lens is not perfect, but who cares? this shot gives me a lot of emotions! Seriously, it?s a creative work and an excellent promo too. Thanks for your comment and for your deep words, I appreciated them and I?m happy you liked my photo. You are right, I often ask myself if it?s morally right to enter the privacy of suffering persons, I think yes if you respect them in every way. Hugs Max

Sorry, Cindi, for my oversight. I forgot to critique the photo.
My initial reaction - very clever. Overall, I love your concept.
I had to look twice after reading Hugo's thoughtful comment. I would have to reluctantly agree that the image in the lens needs more dimension to appear like a true reflection.
The qualities I am attracted to are your candor, by turning the camera on yourself, and the hardware/software approach.
I like that it is both revealing and anonymous - because the eyes are hidden. If we saw the eyes, it would lose the intriguing sense of voyeurism.
Regards, Bill.
P.S. Are you planning to post the insert shot at any time? I will try to be the first to comment.

Cindi, great legs and head. Judging by the insert photo, you are very well equipped.

I use a Gitzo tripod myself. I consider it a bare essential - wouldn't be without it.

Nice to see someone takes camera support seriously.

Regards, Bill.

Hi Cindi.
Nice pic in general, I tink the play with the reflection in the lens abit too much, but great idea. Please share the original one i think that is a PERFECT pic!!!

GREAT idea Cindi. Showing your eye a little would have given the shot a bit more. Love it all the same.

Dear Cindi, I admire your commitment, attention to detail and finesse. But...most of all...your searching for new ways to touch our hearts. Good luck with your promotional efforts. The card looks like a keeper. Cheers, Leora.

Imagine what you could do with a Leica! I like this very much, Cindi, for it reveals you as a sincere photographer -- prescinding from your natural beauty -- it shows us the tools of your craft but most importantly the hint of your discernng eye!

Jeroen Wenting   {K:25317} 5/20/2004
nice shot. I'd add more DOF to get the camera and lens in focus too, they are blurred which won't do for your purpose.

Hugo de Wolf Hugo de Wolf   {K:185110} 5/20/2004
Very creative shot, and very well composed. I would work on the reflection in the lens a bit more. It's still a bit unnatural, and the right side is not smooth enough. Still, the refraction in of the set of lenses is a very good touch... Maybe a gradient in the transparency would create a more natural look. Good job, can imagine it took some time playing around.

Cheers,

Hugo
