About Shot in Chanderi Village, Near Ambala, Punjab, India. I was on a industrial shooting assignment in a sausage factory. Came out of the plant and saw the building up of a sandstorm. It was strong and fierce, but the beginning was humble like this.

Good work Bikramadittya (a gem of an eye!). I agree with Vikram that the presentation is equally important - If his presentation has a retro look, this is how it might be presented in color.

hi John.. This is not film, its a low end digital + some photoshop work. It's my version of Bikram's storm. However I still use film.. but only on medium format and only for landscapes. :)..

I love it, Vikram! That tree on the right looks like it's actually afraid of the coming storm. Well done! I'm glad SOMEONE is still using UseFilm! I'm not liking it so much anymore. How are you doing?

Your friend John

Hmmm, mouthwatering, hearing about sausages, scared of allergies seeing the dust storm. Great shot! Bikram's right but IMHO, playing with present'n using PS-manipulations (or not) is a personal choice. I liked your comment on our design engineer's great tree. I posted a comment for him with reference to your comment. And I too, (inadvertently, by accident just like he did here:), posted two of the same comments for him:-) Ooops!

Hi Bikram.. Judging from your photographs, it is my opinion that you have a superb eye.. now sir.. it is time to learn presentation.

This is such wonderful photo! Composition is really beautiful, and the sand storm gives it a wonderful dreamlike touch! Very good!

Hi Bikramadittya,

Thanks for your comment mate! You've managed to catch this storm really well! It's a beautifully moody image.I really like the subtle colours and the composition is excellent too! The birds in flight add a nice touch. You can tell they are struggling against the strong wind can't you?
Perfect timing!
Cheers
Alan
