Capturou um grande momento, Jorge. A luz esta fantástica para essa pintura de fotografia.
Gostei da interseccao da ponte no angulo superior esquerdo, e a presenca da ponte adiciona balanco, pois sem ela a área estaria mais ou menos vazia.
O barco a navegar pela foz do rio tambem adiciona positivamente para a atmosfera.
Essa parte histórica do Porto é deveras bonita.
Quanto ao assunto do "sharpening", questao de gosto pessoal, achei um tiquinho exagerado (pouca coisa), pois parece ter atravessado o ponto em que se comeca a perder um pouco de detalhes, especialmente na água, barco e casas ao fundo. Aliás nao sei se foi sharpenin excessivo, ou magnificacao, ou talvez um pouco de movimento na foto original (estava em um barco?)
As nuvens, porém, ficaram sensacionais.

This is an incredible shot Jorge. The beautiful modern contours of the bridge make a natural frame for this beautiful old world port. Two worlds clashing is really an afterthought because the photo is really just pleasing to look at. Great colors and textures.The sun really reflects off those barrel clay tiles on the roofs to give all that beautiful blue some balance. This is another great landscape or wide shot that youve recently submitted, wonderful job. Cheers, Dustin.

It is something great if you can use an object to 'frame' with it another object or a subject generaly. Here except this technic, the use you did on this bridge really impresed me about its originality.

Hi Jorge, what a superb view with dramatic clouds formation. Beautiful composition...how different from our prairies, as you rightly commented similar to "Kursk setting" :))

Yes, my way is color and as strong as possible contrast.No, it is not done by my Nikon,though I can do it inthe camera,increasing sharpness.But that way I?ll loose contro.I add in Photoshop and work with level and other setings to get contrast,brightness and saturation, as far as possible.

Jorge, muy buena composción!! El cielo muy expresivo. Con respecto a lo que te comenta Daniel Guerin, en general tus fotografías son ricas en contraste y color. Es que tu Nikon fotografía así o tu le subes el contraste luego?

I agree with the dark wood area ,at right.I thought to work out that zone, but completely forgot to conclude my work.Yes, it could be improved.On the sharpen,here we discuss opinions.You like bland,I like sharp,strong,vivid.You , in my place would,for sure,have done the other way, my comment would be...I would prefer more sharp ! But a photo site is just the place to exchange diferent opinions, in a gentlemanly terms.The obvious is not matter for discussion .

Jorge; I like your composition using the bridge as both a framing device and a feature. The cloud is interesting and moody and the scene is pleasing. However, I feel the picture is a bit over-sharp and I'd like to see more detail in the shadow area to the right. All in all, a good interesting photograph. If it wasn't over-sharpened, I'd like it even more.
