I think this is so beautiful! When people alter their photos, I'm curious to know what they did, so I appreciate you letting us know! Great job!

Good comp and feel. I gotta say I like it. I used to spend hours in the darkroom and the result was, in most cases, a far cry from the original image in both composition and feel....but aha, and here is the crux of the matter, I liked it eevn if nobody else did and I created something from something else. In other words to get to the final image use whatever means you have to create that final image that you see inside...good one here. K

Outstanding. As many painters emulate the "reality" of straight photography, why should we not at times emulate painting? This is beautifully done, great color balance, dramatic sky and I like the detail up front. - Tim

Love it. Very painterly...when we get to have such a rigid view of what makes a photo we lose the creativity. PS AWAY...we learn and see new things that way. Great job.

its interesting..but my reservations are about the composition..i like the PS work actually...i find the foreground detail disturbing and unnecessary.

It works for me Kevin. Lovely sky and the splash of red on the boat is a nice contrast.I think a slightly lower viewpoint to make the boat more dominant in the frame or a crop off the bottom would work. IMHO Regards John

I am not anti a lot of things, so I am not annoyed at all. Experimental work always carries you to another level, at least you can see where you are standing at.
I like this shot and the effect. Well done
