About This is the bathing-pools in Guernsey. I didn't think much good had come out of the trip but with some close cropping and desaturation, I think this one turned out well. In colour, it didn't work at all - funny that, eh?!

Thanks for viewing, looking forward to your comments.

Really great composition, I like the way the railing disappears in the bright background.

Very nice composition and yes the black and white is perfect for the shot. Funny how it sometimes just has to be black and white!

I used to detest PS.....but like you, i have come to realize that sometimes you can use it as a tool to bring life to an otherwise disappointing effort. Congrats on a great job..the perspective is excellent, the BW works perfectly! ...Brad

Well? It is great. SO metaphoric and spooky and abstract. In this case the blow out at the top of the image only adds to the mystery....as if to say 'go towards the light!"....I might like to see this image with a very small (hairline) black frame around the image. Just to confine the image and further accentuate the linear aspects.....very nice work.

These are spectacular!

I love the composition and the overall image. What the hell is a railing going zig zagged down into the water... intriguing for me to say the least.

Cheers
Toby
