@Hugo, admitted, your version is more dramatically...

I see, still a lot of space for learning :)

I'll try my very best!

Cheers,
Verena

Hah!
Demo, wouldn't you just love to be paid to do it.
Hugo's right, isn't he. We should be paying him.
Is this an old hospital and have you seen these guys?

And VERY time consuming. I like to print myself, but rarely find the time.....;o( In that case, it might very well be something to do with the level tweaking. Attached, i included a photo, adjusted to my own liking....;o)

Cheers,

Hugo

@Hugo, I scan the negative directly without any printouts before...only working with the arc of contact and the negative...own printing is one of a lot of future projects...schedule completely open

Did you check the contact sheet or the print? Those might differ, as a single print may have been corrected seperately... Thanks!

Cheers,

Hugo

@Hugo, this time I really did a exposure series with +/- 0.5 and this one was the best result in my personal opinion, but I'm not pretty sure which of them I finally used... and I checked again the arc of contact and in not one of them you're able to find black tones...

Somebody has been giving you a rating without leaving a comment..... Not very nice.

Hope not....;o) I like the very well balanced composition, and the basically simple scene. I still wonder, is it the print or a PS job that created the slightly off balance tonal range? (I mean, the white tones are definately there, and very prominently so, but there are no pitch black tones) Maybe it's a camera property. You might want to try putting the camera at -0.5 EV to compensate the seemingly but slightly overexposed image. Unless, that is, if you created this output deliberately.

Good day at work, today?

Cheers,

Hugo
