I like the shot a lot. I think it would have been good to include the bow in the DOF though. Not being a bow person myself, I couldn't tell at first what that was just in front of the bow (I now see it's an attachment of some sort). I think it would also be interesting (ok, but very dangerous) to get a front photo looking up the arrow line to the person aiming. Ok, I don't want to photograph that for you... ;-)

Nice shot!
As an archer and photographer, I've tried all sorts of positions to photograph archery and this is one of the best angles. There are some good shots to be had from infront of the archer, but don't even ask unless you know them very well and are willing to be scared.
Uploads will follow, just signed up and had to comment on an archery image when I saw it :)
