Hi Lori, I like the off centered composition and the square presentation. They go very well together. I like the details. The backlighting, with the slight over exposed openings between the petals create a very "romantic" atmosphere; Would make a nice detail for a wedding reportage. Lighting is excellent, casting a nice soft shadow onthe brighter parts, and make the gradient between the shadowy parts and the bright areas very subtle; I like what you've done here alot! I always think it is very dificult to create an interesting (and most of all an original) close-up of a flower, but you've succeeded very well. My compliments!

Yes, I love any experiment so we can find beautiful moods! Excellent and beautiful work, Lori! Splendid!
(I used in that pic: 1. sharp, sharp and sharp; 2.adjustmaent layer (all); gradients (golden); filters/stylize/difuse/ansotropic with fade; hue/saturation (unsaturation and hue a bit); "Nic colour efex pro/sunshine"(plugin) and "Digital gem" (plugin that reduce noise and give watercolour atmosphere). Software: Photoshop CS 8!)
