I like this shot much better than the unfortunate memory of an after shock rumble at the DelMar, La Jolla, when I saw the swimming pool rock like a tea-cup in a saucer. Too bad I didn't have the presence of mind to record the marvellous act of Mother Nature back then in 1991 or 92. Cheers:)! Great portfolio Lori!

Where is La Jolla? Are these flowers narcissus? Seems to be much warmer than here.

Nice land and seascape, Lori.
The little yellow flowers add a welcome extra colour to the mix of blue, green and white.

Hi Lori, Luckily there's one thing the same everywhere and for everyone.... The sea and sky remain indifferent to ideology or culture...:) Beautiful shot, the warmth that radiates from it (due to the vivid colours, I think) definately make me long for spring! The slight curve of the horizon expresses the vastness of the ocean. Just gorgeous tones and combination of objects. The slanting hill in the foreground adds a great deal to the photo, and prevents it from being cast aside as "just another seascape on a sunny day". I think it would do very well as a postcard...:)

Very nice shot the colors are so vivid. Great shot. And to think this http://www.usefilm.com/image/320411.html (not to plug my pic but show the difference in clouds) was about 5 miles away up on Sorrento Mesa. Lori, did you get some shots of those Awsome redish/pink clouds this evening?
