About When I took this shot, I had the triptych with the previous photos already in mind. This photo shows the The minaret framed by a part of the arches in the Emam Mosque on the South East side of the Emam Khomeini Square, Esfahan, Iran. To all: (and especially Jeff and Verena) Here's the answer to the question in the title: If you follow the blue line long enough, you're in Heaven. The limit is beyond the sky.....:) Cheers,

Hugo

Beautiful angle of the minaret and great details of the arc! The blue sky is very well composed with the picture. Cheers Hugo.

Nice framing with found objects. There is quite a bit of grain evident from the 400 speed film. I don't know if you do your own scanning and could use digital ice, or maybe a little gaussian blur in Photoshop? Still, it is a cut above the standard presentation.

This is another great image..the "fore-ground"arch made beautiful composition..I think you've got great series of blue photos that you can be proud off..no matter about the scanning quality `cos we no the original is different .. judgement goes to photographer not the photo..great again Hugo

Fantastische foto!
Groeten, Lex

ps. een halve week geen comments van mij, ik ga even op vakantie met me ouders mee!!

Excellent composition Hugo, its great how you included a part of the arche in the frame. Beautiful colors and detail, I like the clarity. Only if it was cloudy that day, would have made another beautiful shot.

Very well done, another favorite...

Good subject. I like the use of the detail - part of the gate in this photo that makes a natural frame at the right part of the photo. This technic is always very impressive and so you had a great point of view for this shot. Also this tower is interesting and pretty original I think. Very impressive architecture and details! The only think has to do with the soft noise. An object at the center of the sky that looks like a piece of hairs, makes me believe that this photo is scanned and perchaps need clean. Anyway, I think you can work using PS or other programs to fix little bit the sky. If you have Corel's program, it has an interesting tool for these details named 'Blend' and it can blend the pixels between them so the texture looks softer. Anyway, this is not big deal and suerly the resized photo I can see (and not the original) surely have some difference! I have these problems many times here with my photos also.
Good one Hugo, my best regards and have a great week! Bye!
