thank you everyone. when i look in my eyes i see my mother. that is the only time i see her. it makes me sad.
kinda hard to avoid.everytime i look in the mirror i get a bit misty eyed..seeing myself grow from a child to a woman. watching the lines in my face deepen. the jowel sag a bit more. the look i once had..was flirtatious..now cautious..all a part of growing i suppose. thanks again..emgy and maria..that explanation was for you.. thanks for noticing. and take good care everyone, :)

Love this portrait of yours, Sandy. The grain works very well here and you look great as always. You captured a beautiful expression but there seems to me a touch of sadness in your eyes - I hope I am wrong! Great work! HUGS - Emgy

I like the colors, composition/framing, and "faux" graininess. It does have a nice "time gone by" feel to it. Regards..:)

I like the effect, looks a little bit like cross-processed film. Good portraiture work Sandy (one of your best so far), I also think this composition deserves exploring with a few variations. A few pesky "chromosomes" hovering about though... :)
