Hi Greg,

great shot from an advance amatour :))

The tonal range is extraordinary spectacular, I like the going into black top of composition. Perfectly implemented artistic b&w.
My best regards
durmi

Ahh this is GREAT! So beautiful and original! So warm because of the cactuses, but the sand looks like snow in a way which is confusing but in an interesting way. About Heather's comment... I just want to say that on my screen the top does not go black. Just to darker gray, in a nice scale. This is a really wonderful composition, and details are fantastic!

Gregory-
Since you didn't specify, not sure if the darkness at the top is due to a polarizer or PS. Either way, I like it. I think it adds balance to the shot. In my opinion, without the darkness the sky would be dull. The only thing I'm not sure about is the relatively central position of the horizon. Not saying it's bad, just not sure.
Regards,
Chris

Very nice image....perhaps a tad bit over-polarized, but I like the tonal range.

Great picture. I would prefer the top not to go black but, either way very nice.
