Well, only about 4 months to go before you get another chance at this shot. Someone dug up all the slippers on my lot so theres no competition. Nice detail and light, Agree with tony on the hot spot on top of flower. Photoshotp can reduce it to a nice highlight though.

The backlighting is fine on the leaf to the right but the fine hairs on the stalk aren't sharp and the backlighting there shows this up.The leaf at the top is slightly burnt out too-it's often best to do florals when it's overcast so as to have even lighting and avoid this kind of problem.I keep saying this but I was out this morning doing macros of wild narcissus and it wasn't overcast and I 'm sure there'll be some irritating hot spots in some of my shots!Conditions are never perfect,are they?
