Rachel, You capture the innocence and candor of the children you have photographed in a very special way. This "mind's eye" of the images you create make them very successful (and this is a good thing, indeed!).

Rachel:
You ask what I/we think. This is a gorgeous capture of a very special, and happy little girl. IMO there is no problem with light. Very well done! BRAVO!
Best regards David

I love this shot. It especially demonstrates the exuberance that we never tire of witnessing in kids, and feeling ourselves . . . Her mouth is particularly expressive of the joy and sense of accomplishment . . . I like the camera position/composition as well. Just slightly below, giving her the "upper hand" a little, and straightforward, . . . not contrived at all. Beautiful one.
