About Some days ago one of you affirmed that I liked to photograph the misfortune of the other ones. Well then, in the reality my intention and to show real facts that we can change if we have some courage and solidarity. Did you already imagine some sorts things out of changing this? I am already being my part... showing the reality with which I live together in my day by day... who knows one day we will get to change this?

Superb black and white capture. Tones are excellent and so is the contrast.

Infelizmente e um facto da vida em grandes centros urbanos...e ve-se ainda mais em paises que se declaram em voz alta que sao os maos ricos e que tem mais compaixao que todos os outros.

Good shot, Ari. Não se esqueça que o Sebastião Salgado também é muito criticado por focar a miséria humana.

Your message is very clear and couragous.

It's good that persons like you exist and kepp on showing the real reality, what "Neo-Realism did that and the New Italian Cinema show us what life" and that also can be testified by a good and sensible eyes behind a camera.

Change it? I don't know...but at least do not ignore it...

I think you do what we,most of us ,must do: spot what is wrong and can be changed, show that in the most striking way, to hit everybody ,hard and sharp to understand life is not only glamour and nice people. In the 40?s , the Neo-Realism did that and the New Italian Cinema show us what life, true life ,was all about. Not studio life, with nice decors and nice people, but life like it is,bad, dirty, ughly. If one, but only one stop, think and try something, your time was not wasted.I?m with you, all the time.I only have not your ability to do the same thing.
My nest trip:May,27 , I?ll be landing in Guarulhos , for a stay in S.Paulo and the south of Brasil.
Regards, mr.S.Paulo.

This is very strong and shows life as it is. I don't think that you like to phtograph the misforture of others. After all this is part of life too. It needs to be shown so the rest of us will realsize that life isn't the same for all. I think that you are doing a service and not at all and only showing reality as it is.

Ari:

Great capture of a 'real' condition of a part of humanity, but one that even with best efforts and intent, will always exist to some extent in my opinion......Randy

We hope things will change. So we sometimes have to show people things they do not want to see, to intiate that change. Hopefuly it all works out for the better. Nice job, very dramatic. tc
