I don't really know what you were planning to do, but this sure is a wonderful and also very interesting shot! His face expression is lovely, and I like how it's desaturated as a separation from background. Which I think looks very cool! Gives me a feeling of ghosts!

Dear lena,it is very nice compositon and works.
It would be better monochrome backgraund against colorful portrait,I think.
(like colorful world of child against scared outside)This is also good.
