Hello! Thanks for all your kind comments on my recent shots; sorry I haven't responded until now, I've been a bit busy of late! I'll spend some time having a look through your portfolio in the near future, but this landscape caught my eye straight away! Looks like a wonderful spot, but the image seems to be a bit tilted? Miguel, thanks. This is near the summit of Red Slate Mountain, on the California/Nevada border, only a few mountains east of Yosemite Nat'l Park. It's in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range; if you ever have the opportunity to visit/hike, DO IT!!! ....Brad

What a great view and photo. The biggest mistake you made was leaving that place! I like the photo very much, but the colors look a little odd. I agree that a wider lens and a polorizer would have helped. Regardless, nice work. Regards, Dan

Brad, you've got another great one here. What I find fascinating about photographs is seeing in the image what it took for the photographer to get where he could get the shot. You are real good at getting there.

A bit of a wider angle would work wonders here. The person soaking in the view is a little close to the edge of the frame and the highlights are very hot. His hat and the snow are very bright. They say the eye focuses on the brightest spot in a photo so you should be sensitive to this when taking your photos. In this case I do think it detracts a bit. Perhaps a circular polarizer would have helped. It would also help saturate some of the color. Great view.
