About This is a re-do (sorry about the pun above) of one of my favorites. I was able to get a (slightly) better scan of it and it's a bit bigger as the dimensions allowed are bigger than were available with the first posting.

You've captured the joy and wonder of childhood, which is as strikingly beautiful as it is elusive.

Well done.

Thanks for all your comments. This has always been one of my favorites.

Andrew, if you want to see another version with more of the feet, you can look at the second image in my portfolio. I'm not sure how to add a link to it but I'll try:

Robbie's Feet original

If that didn't work, I'll have to find another way.

Adam, I like the sharpness of the face and the B&W works really well, but although the feet are a major feature in this pic, I find them a little too distracting and a little in the way. The one on the left side is very dominating, but I suppose you don't have the control in order to place them where you need to. Otherwise a very cute photo.

Don't worry Adam, I'm not psychic or anything. Just from a comment you left on one of my photos.
By the way, I enjoyed looking through your portfolio. Good family stuff. Congrats again!

I know this isn't the right place and I'm sure I'll remember as soon as I submit this, but how did you know I used to live in Santa Barbara?

Ron Browne   {K:1282} 11/26/2002
Hey Adam, very cool! Not bad for an old Santa Barbara boy. Congratulations!
