About I shot this about 4.oclock in the afternoon.I went to this location (boulmer in Northumberland )(one of my favorite spots to photograph empty beaches ect but the tide was in .I was knocked out by the potential

Fantastic light, well saturated colors, vivid scene.
Personally I'd like to see better focus in the foreground (but maybe that would pull the eye away from the boats). Also I'd prefer no frame, since the posts are already so small here and it takes space from the picture.
You've got a number of great captures of 'magic light' in your portfolio- keep 'em coming.

Hi Kevin,

Can imagine! A great location; and a superb composition. I like the sea debris in the foreground. The foreground lacks some sharpness, though. If you had used a smaller aperture, the Depth of Field would have been sufficent to get everything into perfect focus.

Still, there's something that attracts me to this photo; maybe because the clour of the sea and the clouds seem very familiar. Another reason is the flash; which casts the nets and the debris in a very mystic light. Works very well. A very intreguing photo!
