About This was one of my very first photos with this camera, taken at one of my favourite spots on the dog walk. What it made of this simple scene made me fall in love with the camera!

I like the balance of the four trees in this shot and the path leading out of the left corner. I imagine you could get some wonderful fall shots in Japan. How do you like your TX-1?

Very beautiful scene Roger! Even my wife likes it and she's very picky, so it must be good!

And you were right about my last photo; I did do a bit of cropping. Mainly though, the problem was that I had to use a high ISO setting and small file size, because my old digital camera was so slow to react otherwise. The resulting shot had quite a bit of noise, so I had to despeckle it, etc.

hi rog is this a panoramic camera? I wouldn't mind getting one of those...it looks like english countryside, are we still in japan? Nice shot I would of been tempted to clone the house out just to see what it would look like....thanks for your comments, the shot of the women in the cafe nearly came out with that background I just took shots of things with the sun on them and exposed to that light slightly underexposed so the background came out very dark.. the specs were f5.6 ISO 200 1/250 120mm. I may of brushed it a little or a sometimes make a copy layer give it a multiply filter then layer mask and take out the subject but leave the background which will now be much darker...roger

You have captured exceptional detail in this shot. What a shame about the 640 pixel width limit
