I like this viewpoint, a bit of life in miniature. Looking forward to more of your "drive-by shootings"... :)

a bit of bright hope in a cold dark world and yet...

the format, the tilt, the cracked side-walk, the vignette all indicate a separation or an unreachability - this isn't hope that can be reached it is a broken hope - we are alone and so even hope is of little comfort when it comes in the form of someone else...

excellent image...

Good one Sandy. Darkness - black instand to the vivid bright yellow. A very good composition.

this is a good one, very clever idea for desaturation and good choice for darkening borders to focus more on the subject in yellow color

Hi Sandy,

You have a very interesting portfolio that I will check with more detail later... This image is very nice, and I think the dark surroundings help a lot to really make me focus on the subject... seems cold aout there! regards, Ricardo

Oh little boy, he looks like my pupils when they get to school with their load of books and of silence, luckily they have a crazy teacher like me!!! ;))) Great effect, I like it! Bye Max

Sandy thanks so much for your comment...made my day!

Tennessee Williams said, 'We're all of us sentenced to solitary confinement inside our own skins, for life!' But that doesn't mean we cannot accept the comfort of others. Wonderful image, love the bright spot of yellow!
