IMO a little bit to tight, there is no space for 'breathing' but very good in technical level. The cat looks to be frightened?

I also own a Canon 10D, and I know that all 10D owners are required to take cat and ruler photos or forfeit their cameras. Given that this shot was required, you've done a fine job, especially when it comes to avoiding red eye. thanks for all the technical information. I learn from it. Now where is your ruler shot?

This is a teatament to (a) the beauty of your cat, and (b) you camera. The detail and texture are amazing. I'm pleased you now use bounce flash rather than direct, it's much kinder to the subject. He may be called Tiger but I'm sure he's really a pussy cat.Best wishes. David.

I know I commented on this one but on the raw images I at first didn't know if I was going to like it but I wouldn't shoot any other way now. When you convert it make it a tiff file for they won't lose anything in the compression the way a jpeg does. Do all your editing in the tiff file and when your ready with the image convert it to jpeg. You get a much better image. I know you need a fast computer with a lot of ram for it to work quickly when using these large tiff files but just convert the ones you want to keep and submit. The others I just convert to jpeg and keep as raw on cds and dvds for a back-up. I use to change them all to tiff and I even used up my extra 100 gig drive in no time plus the cd drive couldn't read those large tiff files quickly enought either.
