the effect works well Mike I used to paint watercolors. With the flower shot I shot the flowers against a blue background natural light I then selected the background with select color range and then filled it with black pretty simple first time I have done it. I like the view through all the bridges good compostion..regards Roger

Thanks for putting up the image Mike it's pretty good as well but I think I prefer the Fresno version. Without the cars it could have been a painting set a century ago by a Great Master.
Have to poke through my filters, got so many yet never use them.

The filter effect is really good Mike looks just like a painting. I love the nested arches and the colours on the water. Really original. I've never heard of that filter is it something to use in Photoshop? Must give it a go.
This looks like it might be a good image in it's own righ. How about putting it up here as an attachment so we can see the full effects of the filter.
