He looks drunk. If you had told us this is a picture from 1920, we may have believed you. The graininess and sepia tone seem to indicate the photo is from another era. I like the composition.

Great realism shot...was it grainy for effect? Also, I think it was cropped a bit too tight on the right. Otherwise I really love this photo. Good job.
