About I very seldom take portraits but I found this woman such an attractive subject that I asked her to let me take one. This is trimmed from a larger negative with various distracting objects scattered around her.

I forgot to mention, the picture that I attached is a little pixelated and was done very quickly. You get even better results at higher reolutions

Hi Roger, Happy Casual Portrait. I am a sucker for peoples eyes. Get in closer and fill the frame if you want to do more portrait work. You will pick up more nuances of expression and the facial details. Soft focus for the more mature subjects can then be employed to create a more yourthful looking shot.

Thanks for your nice comments on Tonality, If you would like to know how to do the B&W conversions in Photoshop, drop me an email at brad_m@myrealbox.com. It comes in handy if you shoot in colour then decide later your shot would look better in B&W.

Regards

indeed... she has the charm... trimmed from a large negative - wow, excellent work then! you still have nice focus on her face. congrats.
