Took this in Devil's Den state park. There were a couple of deer walking around in this dried-up creek bed. The mom, and this young doe. I didn't notice when I took the picture that she had her toungue sticking out. The sun, though to the west, was still rather high, so it caused rather harsh shadows, but this was one of those times when I just had to grab the shot anyway and not worry too much about the lighting. Anyway, just thought I'd post it, 'cause I thought she was cute. :)
Hi Larry. Beautiful composition. It's not often that we get to see such a wild and beautiful animal such as this one long enough to get such a beautiful image captured on film. Great job!
