Excellent shot, I didn't think that it was made in a zoo, it looks so "natural". Thanks for the comment on my lizard. It was close to a beach in north Cuba. I had to wait about half an hour to get the red shield on film - the mosquitos there almost ate me up.
Amitava, Hope you took this through glass, This guy looks mean and hungary, although in fact, people eat a lot more shark, than sharks eat people. Good composition and exposure, fearsome image. I can relate to what you are saying about the shutter lag. I have a Nikon 5700 and the delay between pressing the button and actually taking the picture can be very frustrating at times. My SLRs never had that problem, you pressed the button, you got the picture. Obviously, digital cameras have a ways to go yet. Good Work!! ray w.
