a faster shutter would have stopped the action of the drumsticks, but I am not so sure that would be good...I like the idea of the motion, but the two drumsticks in the foreground seem to dominate the main subject...black and white is a good choice here with good tones and contrast

to me pictures of drums is always special.. and i like this very much. The DOF is grat - and i like the lines of drums here. Good picture.
