You should see the full size image :-) Though I have to admit, that I trained my panning technique before, it was a lucky shot ... with a good timing ... I especially like the co-driver's look at the dashboard. To capture exactly this moment, was luck.

Though I carefully chose my position on the tribune, it was by chance, that the top of the car and the grass performed a straight line.

I tried to get exactly the same colours and contrast, as I saw it on this cloudy day. A bit of post-processing was needed, because the automatic white balance caused a slight blue cast.

I don't know if you adjusted your height to get the line of the top of the car and the grass in parralel, but if you did it works for me, avoiding any "complications" with the passenger's helmets or the lines of the car against the background. The shot has a nice classic simplicity to go with the car... none of the busy-ness or flashy colours of modern motorsports - sets the tone nicely. Best wishes, Chris
