This must be...

http://www.usefilm.com/image/212974.html

Which I have looked at a number of times...

Thinking whether I should have one built on my lake...

But the water is soo deep...

It is a pleasure to see the colour...

You have done well...

Hi everyone. Thanks for the comments - if I knew more about photoshop I would certainly touch up the contrast between the roof and sky - I'll have to look into it. The weather was quite strange that day - and very overcast.
Tim - i shaved a little off the left hand side on PS to make it perfectly symmetrical - but it wasn't too bad.
Thanks again for the help - I learn more everyday!

If this was a full frame it would make a great print with those colours and contrasts, rather stark but vivid at the same time. It has a cartoon look of invitation to it as well. I think the ideas border around it would make it stand out especially with a bit more contrast in the sky/roof would make it a winner. Certainly has a very identifable local appeal seen by tens of thousands on a slow crawl from work every day.

Perfect geometry and simple lines.
It seems a children-painted house :-)

Hi Natalie
a nice composition, but maybe it wasn't a good day: the sky is too bright and you loose contrast between the roof and the sky.
Seems a bit overexposed too.
A nice photo

Bye Max

Good composition and good colour.
If you did put a frame was a good idea, because off the light blue sky.
Regards.

Great shot. must have taken a while to feel you had the compositition right, or was that a photoshop good? Perhaps a tiny bit more contrast between the sky and roof on the viewers left? Great shot.
