Thank you Lucas. I like the soft one too but I truly fell in love with the messy, grainy, etc. original photo. Now I'm leaning towards that one as my favorite. Rima has a special place in my heart and in this world, I'm emotional about her. Sometimes I wonder if I'm doing too much fixing and whatnot to my photos, worrying about the "critique" of others, and trying too hard to impress. Perhaps the things I feel most about my photos are the things I already know? The best things about them? I am beginning to be a photographer! Teresa
p.s. I've been accused of living in a fanasy world, because I just want to take photos. Don't ever let anyone take away your dreams. tsw
Thank you for your praise and comments. Susan, I agree with you about the loss of details. I don't think it was the flash, though. I think it may be the noise/moire/jpeg remove feature on Adobe PhotoDeluxe 3.1. I usually use Corel Photopaint but I'm using my mom's computer. I have worked on this photo for over 6 months. Okay, I am putting this one in the Photo Help Project! I spent hours and hours removing all the snot and dirt from little Rima's face, only to decide that I prefered the original. Although I made a new copy from the original to work from, I wondered if the image could have degraded from to much use. I'm sending the color, Adobe version, I'll have to do some digging and resampling to get to the original. I think the color has a little more detail.
