dear sandra,
thank you for your comment.
i know very well that i don't h a v e to thank you or all the other friends for comments, but everyone posting comments
- undertakes an effort to report on having taken notice of a photo
- placing a comment is an effort that needs to be recognized and valued and
- i regard this exchange of opinions a correspondence between photographers of all qualifications and activities and not as entertainment.
i do appreciate that occasionally i stand a little beside the mainstream, but i am afraid that is a risk we all need to consider once we present our work to the public.
i hope we can get along somewhere between these lines.
but in case a regular sign of respect and regard is not in your sense, let me know.
besos

dear sandra,
thank you very much for your open comment.
let me tell you this: the technical aspects are much, much overrated by most people using a camera. i bet, you hardly will find many real photographers making something of the camera they are using. film material yes, that's an issue because there are differences and special materials for different purposes and projects.
the best report in this respect i ever saw was that of a pretty experienced and known photographer, who lost his whole equipment on the way to a far out assignment by boat. the only thing he could get was a simple automatic, autofocus camera as replacement. the pictures he took with that simple machine were really worth savouring. they naturally needed to lack the final technical touch ot top camera and lens but they were excellent quality and his remarkable style.
so much for the "technical point" of view.

regarding 'sara' i do indeed assure you that all my comments are given with the understanding them to be my opinion. as taste is no matter of discussion (except in extreme cases) you can easily rest assured with your point of view. there are some basic rules of composition though...

i will be very glad if we can go on like this. thank you and
besos

Charlie,
I love this... its got that wonderful watercolor feel to it. Did you use a filter in PS? Either way it does wonders for the imagination. I feel like that black and blue sky is turning into "Stary Night". Its wonderful.... and you have a porfolio of these?? MORE MORE MORE!!

Thanks for looking at my work. I'll keep and eye out for more of yours.

Tobiah
