Another really nice shot with a G5, that's it I'm selling the 10D its too heavy and the baby Canon seems so capable of good stuff! The range of colours and textures you have captured in almost perfectly balanced thirds is real testament to your eye for a good photo. its a difficult balancing act to keep so many differently lit areas so well exposed, the foreground is a little dark, the distant hills a little light and hazy but there's nothing more you could have done without manipulating the image. Part of me wants to take the log and the reed out of the lower right of the frame, they just seem to draw my eye like an ill fitting wig, you shouldn't stare but you have to!! But, they are natural, diagetic and uncropable so I'll just shut up and enjoy this great picture.

Beautiful landscape, nice colors and light. The contrast between the dark foreground and the bright part works very good here. The silhouettes in the foreground are a nice add.
