I've tried to get a closer look at this in PS (which isn't easy given the 72dpi image) because I found it so hard to believe that you managed to capture the rider with the wheels lined up with the structure in the background! Was this intentional or the silky hand of serendipity pressing the shutter release?!! Nice to see black and white as it really suits the gritty nature of urban sports. Pushing the provia was a good call. I'm still a victim of the 'slow shutter-panning-fill flash' school when I shoot skaters and normally in colour because thats what I'm asked for. I'll dig some out and scan them so I can post a couple.
I see pics that make me want to sell my Leica M2, now I see one that makes me want to sell my Hoffman Dirty Thirty!! (its a bmx everyone else!)
