About This is the original composition. DOF preview button used for focus. I'm seeing a bit of tilt. Focused on the bench. Would the tilt of the bench have looked better than the tilt of the ocean? Should I have moved more of an angle to the computer screen left and that would have made both areas level? Or would this have mattered at all?

Hi Kim, I've tried to straighten up the world and added a little different color adjustment.

Thank you Kim. I was just really trying to figure this out. I LOL when you said you prefer a tilted bench instead of a tilted world. Does make sense tho. I have another 'landscape' that after looking at it I saw that the land was level but the ocean was titled. I was trying to figure out which one would look best...so I ask Paul to look at it and get his opinion. He said the ocean going uphill looked funny to him but the land goind downhill looked ok.

I truly appreciate this information. It has helped me to get a better perspective.

As for the colors..yes..CA this year when visiting was in the morning time a very blue overcast color. I'm sure a warming filter may have helped that..but was not thinking..I do have one but was loving the beautiful blue clouds and such and the lab I send my film to always develops all my slide film with a blue cast. No matter what type of slide film I use it always comes back with that blue tint to it. So...It was good to hear from you tho. I haven't had time to make many comments lately..working on about 26 rolls of film we took up while on vacation:)

I think sometimes that benches aren't made to be parallel to the world. I've had some problems with that as well. Here I think I prefer the way you've done it, horizon level and bench tilted. It's easier for my mind to think that it is just a titled bench, other than a titled world.
I like the composition with the bench and Paul looking off into the distance, although the colours seem muted here. Guess it's just the overcast day.
