The more frontal lighting gives this one a different feeling.

Roland Le Gall   {K:7018} 9/5/2003
Wow...I think I prefer this one than the other BW ..Very dynamic composition and beautiful light...BW is really a good choice, though I love the coloured one too...

The tilt of the horizontal axis really makes this work well, creating an off-kilter and almost dizzying sensation, capturing the chaos going on here. Nice compositional balances here, from the three detailed cars in the middle, to the two in the foreground, to the far line of cars in the distance. Great skill at work here.

Nice composition and light. In B&W they look like stone carvings. Great series!

Stefan Engström   {K:24473} 9/5/2003
Looks like you had a field day at carhenge! I like the b/w too, but all the cars appear so uniformly gray. Have you tried to use other ways to convert to grayscale - single color channels for example?

I like them even better in B&W, Harlan. Without the colors, they seem less weird, if you know what I mean... Marília
