About Shot late afternoon, with polarizer and ND grad, at hyperfocal distance, on tripod. I was actually on my way to shoot the sunset at a pre-scouted location when I spotted this scene right next to the highway. After making an illegal U-turn, I ran to the water and found a nice pool of water with a dead calm reflection. Location: Bow River, near Castle Mountain, right next to Hwy 1, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.

Barry, right now I am living an hour away from Banff, and it is usually windy! Kenneth just knows when to wait for the good stuff!
Heading out there today, and there are supposed to be snow flurries! In July! Crazy.
Another beautiful shot Kenneth. You;ve opened my eyes.

Another great shot Kenneth. Does the wind never blow in Canada? You have to get up pretty early in the morning in Texas/Georgia to see a body of water so still. Nice!

lovely blues - the "puffy" clouds add to the dreamy look!!

I saw that "street light" too, and I concluded that it was a silhouette of another rock in the pond.

Kenneth, you should be selling these at the Banff gift shop to help pay for your student loans. The money should carry you through all the way to, say,... your Doctorate, perhaps?

Don't know where you find the time to take these wonderful pictures but keep up the great work.

Regards,
Sue %^D

Hi Kenneth, this is possibly the most perfect reflection shot I have seen here, it really works - congratulations! Was the ND grad at top or bottom?

Kenneth,

I just read your bio, and you really ticked me off! (Just joking) You are only 22? Hell I have film in the cooler older than that and can't get a picture like the six you have posted on here. Kid, unless you truly love the bio-chemstry field, I think you are headed in the wrong direction. I would give my right eye for the artistic value that you have shown in your shots. But do something to make more money and buy more stuff and keep posting!!! Thanks for your artists eyes,

Russ

Very nice. I pesume the darkness in the top right is due to the polarizer ?
