Thanks for the comments on this.
Aurore - I use Portra 400VC almost exclusively in my Holgas. Nice saturation. Good examples are:

Heh... plastic cameras rock. I love it when people choose to shoot 'important' subjects with their plastic... it seems some people are afraid of 'ruining' the photo. I think portraits are just fantastic with plastic. Works beautifully here. I'd love to know what film you used; the colors are beautiful. And it looks like it might be print film, which I never use for fear of dull colors. Maybe I was wrong...

Plastic crap lenses can have its applications. This is a fine example.

Thanks for the comments.

Ursula - the Holga is a $15 plastic medium format toy camera made in China. No two are alike.

Richard - cropping Holga shots doesn't often work for. The vignetting is such a part of the look. (With normal 35mm I would crop however.)

Good luck to the nice baby and his lovely mother...

Great window light portrait. Lose the window (crop it right out of there).

Beautiful, intimate picture! I love the smile of the mother, and the baby looks so at peace. I also like the courtain filtering the light.
Ursula

PS, what's a "HOLGA"?
