Hmmm... Harlan, I mainly see Photoshop at work here. Maybe this just isn't my thing, or maybe I am just a bit put off from what I have come to think of as your style -- with bold colors or heightened b&w drama. I'm really torn here -- while I think you have an excellent abstract, I'm just not won over by the treatment. Best regards.

Nicely abstract. Reminds me of the covers of Dada manifestos and magazines in the 1930s. Great contrast. Would love to see the uncropped, unprocessed original, just cuz I'm curious.

Nice composition!!I just feel somewhat unstable,perhaps due to the left middle black lines make tilt(right down).And if possible,it wants another thin black line in the right top white part.Yet beautiful work!!

Harlan,
When I was traveling over the Fourth of July, I thought of you often. I was in the farming areas of the midwest and it reminded me of your earlier farm images. I also wanted to take photos of every piece of rusty machinery I saw - just for you!!
Nice and very graphic image - I would probably clone out the white spots in the black...
