Ow I know they can really pinch hard, their beaks are very sharp too, I know that from my own experience with a local couple of geese :-(

The white goose in the background looks a little shattered! Could this be the aftermath of yesterday's discovery?
Good photo Harry but I think it would have been better if you used a slightly smaller aperture and segregated the white birds from the black
