Ah, I see. That's true, when you take animal shots, you are often upto them, you do what they allow you and you have to be fast to be able to take any sharp, good enough shot sometimes. Good that you were fast with focusing, cats sometimes don't allow me even to do this :)

I didn't have time to adjust any camera settings Ania. I had just taken a couple of shots of the adult horses and was petting them when out of the corner of my eye I see this young one galloping towards us to get some petting too. So I just had time to raise the camera and get it focused as it galloped towards me.

Beautiful shot, maybe I'd try to enchance horse itself, what if F was smaller number? Background is not that important here, and horse would immediately attract the attention.
