Hello, Clay!

Here's some space for you [attached pic]. When dry the trail is a blaze. However, rainy spell creates a few 'dropboxes' enroute where one has to disembark. The haji driver in his stupidity figured to speed past the most dangerous bottleneck which took him off skidding leftwise towards the precipice. Having had maybe two seconds to jump out, whilst the two kids in the van and their mom didn't realize the precarious balance, i'd started hauling them out of the van. it was a lucky passenger day.

You can see the road behind the vehicle, but hard to distinguish the road in front of the vehicle. Thought maybe a mudslide had taken out the road as he was driving. Nice capture and congrats on your award.

These guys have chosen their positions with risk management in mind (not 100% confident they will rescue the vehicle).
As always, very interesting and well composed.

Glad all were safe. Time to hire a different driver me thinks.
Stay safe.

The Haji driver had been reckless and this was the second near disaster with him in less than a week. He’d mindlessly figured to speed past a tapered, slightly sloped muddy part of the trail, and we'd have taken a dive most certainly if it was not for the rear left wheel that wedged firmly against a stable piece of rock.
