Nice thoughtful portrait! White background creates (IMHO) illusion of heaven and this nice guy is like modern angel :) only wings are in imagination,... a bit anxious, like wearing burden of world,... Interesting, how could affect R's "dark dreams" - with dark background...?

We're unaccustomed to seeing models who do not correspond to the Greek athletic ideal, so a sensuous shot of an unusually slender person is a bit of a shock, and a pleasant one. There is an effective tension between the bold shapes of the dark brows and the linear interplay of the folded arms. His closed eyes, his pose, his close-cropped hair, his proud visage, and his slimness make him resemble the very fresh mummy of some lovely young pharaoh.
