you should control yourself Sunset, "hideous" is a very strong word (at least for a non-fluent English speaker), anyway you have a good eye and did notice my "bad" rework on the bkg, here I upload again the image in its original format, apart some minor tweaks
hope this is not so "hideous"

This is a very tough call because I know what you are trying to accomplish, but the background is hideous to the foreground and I am not speaking about Depth of Field ...
