You've overdodged the center-left area of this image, the dodging bled into the water as well.

There is a haunting quality about this view of the bridge. The flatness is not a problem to me. I agree with Steve about the dark corner, but there is an odd looking area just where the bridge meets land that looks like it is over-dodged. Is the light playing tricks on my eyes? I like that you found a non-traditional view of this familiar sight.

Instead of the stupid praise comments that floods this site now, I'll actually answer the question that you asked.
To me, it doesn't seem flat. Maybe the contrast boost helped. I like this view. It's not the typical boring shot. The sky is very nice, but I'm drawn to the dark corner, too much.
Maybe a little dodge would help.
