About Somewhere between Shoshone and Pahrump there is a town in California with only one inhabitant, Martha Beckett. She is an ex-Broadway performer who chose this isolated place to build her dream, Amargosa Opera House. She is the only star in town and the only person, but every Saturday there is a show. When people don't turn up there are the special guests that Martha painted on her walls. Among others there are images of King of Spain. I took this picture during one of the shows. Luckily it was a full house.
