Fantastic photo, very very beautiful and PERFECT! Legs are not to dark on my screen, I can see details in them. Composition is fantastic, and so is the expression and lightning and quality!

Outstanding Shot, beautiful sharp focus while maintaing the soft feeling on the moment. Great Eye contact! I Like the legs exactly as they are, making them lighter would alter Mom Natures coloring! I also feel the the branch gives a more natural feeling to the setting..this is the way things are...I wouldnt change a thing!

Another nice one Jim, are you feeding these guys Rib-Eye Steaks to get them to pose as such. The only nit I can find with this one is the branch in the front. I not being a purist at heart might have tried to clone it out. But after all this is nature in its purist form, keep um coming.

Hi All, and thanks for the comments and all your congrates about being POTD yesterday. To address the dark legs, thats what color they are, out in the sun or wherever. the foxes legs are almost black. so don't know how to change that. I shot a few with spot metering on the darkest part of the animal, but the rocks then got blown out. Thanks again . jimc

Hi, Jim! Nice capture here! I agree with Luca about the legs and disagree about the branch. That expression is adorable. I like the framing by the LL foreground rocks. W.I.H.T.T. (Wish I Had Taken This)!

A very beautiful expression and the fur is really well rendered. I believe that the dark on the legs and the branch on the left are minor faults, though.
Bye,Luca

This is a beautiful nature image...the colors are so natural and exposure so good that along with the pose it makes an excellent composition...the clarity of the eyes is well seen...this is simply beautiful with a well caught expression
