Thanks for the comment.
Since you use Nikon gear, you might be interested to know that I used my old (1970) 50mm manual Nikkor lens to take this image. I had to alter it slightly to have it fit the D200 body. The lens is operational with the D200 in "A" mode with manual focus. Not bad for something I bought more than 40 years ago.

I think the strong looking colour is mostly due to the polarizer filter. It grew on me pretty fast. Today's post from the same area (different lens) shows even more of the fall characteristics. Morning this time.

I liked this one too. I had many different versions and I posted this one because of the slightly unusual colours. It is not manipulated a lot. I think the result is mostly due to the polarizer filter.
