I looked at some on EBAY and got an idea what they run for $$. Will probably check for a used one at the camera store in my area first. I have been working long days and my photography has been in small doses. Has been a tough year but I just keep my head down, blow and go!! Glad I caught up with you today!! Always good to share with you.
be well, stan

Yes sir I shot it in color and then converted it.
I really can't give any advice on the ND filter.
I just picked this one up and really just now a few years later am using it. lol I just got a lens the correct size. I bought it for my film camera. I would just go with a +4 and then 1 maybe
but that is up to you. They have to ones that you can turn which is what I really want. You can dial in what power you want to use. Kinda costly however. I also like the ones that you can control the sky with affect to the ground. Those are pretty cool to.....:)

I had just read an article on ND filters and the many ways that they can enhance b/w photography. I do not have any yet my self, but would like to get a ND graduated one and maybe a 3 stop one to start. Any recommendations?? Did you shoot thiis in B/W mode or did you shoot color and then convert from the color?? Your angle in this shot really makes it dramatic!!

Looks like you got that Nikon talking Paul. Great shot and use of the ND filter for the slow shutter speed. great tones and detail. It is indeed a good rush!! My best always!
