About Another one from my current exhibit - This is a Wildcat dahlia; the same flower that I used on my postcard from my 2009 exhibit. It is one of my favorite dahlias. This year I managed to catch it with the light coming from behind. In order not to overexpose the shot, I had to reduce the exposure by 2 full stops which had the side effect of intensifying the color. The rain drops (yes they are really rain drops) are just frosting on the cake.
